“Shift into Wellness Synergy Summit”

What are the Goals and Objectives of the Summit through the CanBeWell and Knowlative viewpoints?

CanBeWell:
1. To create conversations and develop experience with the expanded terminology that BioEnergetic Wellness creates.
2. To assist the world with getting to know our profession better and to be using the tools every day in every household.
3. To fundraise for more programming opportunities and outreach.

Knowlative:
1. Expand wellbeing of people and create a community towards these goals.
2. More interaction within the platform of Knowlative for building knowledge and collaborations.
3. Knowlative to be the “go to” resource for all protocols, research, and supports for Muscle Response Testing.

A few months back Michelle Greenwell, President of The Canadian Association for BioEnergetic Wellness (CanBeWell) met with Ludovico Feletto of Knowlative to discuss a partnership to advance the vision and mission of both organizations. Knowlative’s desire to assist organizations in the BioEnergetic Wellness industry (a term adopted by Canada), or Kinesiology as it is termed in other parts of the world, with their online presence for conferences and workshops, as well as gain momentum in the collaborative opportunities that can be found at Knowlative. And for CanBeWell, to advance the education of members and colleagues by identifying the key features of our profession and exploring their current research and science-based background.

It has been a tough couple of years for CanBeWell as they were shut down by legislation with the use of the term Specialized Kinesiology in their association title. They have worked tirelessly to rebrand, identify, and exemplify the key features of our profession and to get it known in every household. They do not want other countries to have to experience the trauma they did, and they wish to help others highlight the key features of our profession and to grow with this knowledge and expertise.
This leads to the goals and objectives for this Summit. The “Shift into Wellness Synergy Summit” is bringing forward terminology, descriptions, new ideas, and of course, new skills.

There are three series within the summit to allow for exploration of manual biofeedback through Muscle Response Testing (MRT), Muscle Monitoring, Muscle Testing, and Hands off assessment used by such disciplines as Therapeutic Touch™. They have also identified the key features of the disciplines that fall under the umbrella of the profession like Brain Gym™, Natural BioEnergetics™, Therapeutic Touch™, Touch for Health™, Eden Energy Method, Muscle Tuners, NeuroReflex Integration, Sound and Frequency and more. With their affiliate relationship at Akamai University, they have added the post-secondary education that is often not recognized in our profession and brings education to degrees and post graduate degrees in Complementary and Alternative Medicine, or Integrative Health.

The three series have Pre-Summit activities to engage in the topics of the presentations prior to the series, as well as post-Summit events to advance the skills and ideas of the delegate to use the knowledge, share it and advance it. This will be done through readings, video suggestions, and post activities like a video journal, articles for newsletters, articles for Knowlative, new protocols, sharing of research and writings on Knowlative, multiple choice tests. Each summit also has business development and skill building sections. For those in the Mastermind Series, (only 64 spots available), there will be extra collaborations on a national scope and an international outreach. These gatherings will be looking at topics through different lenses and creating awareness and ideas for advancement of our profession.

The Journal publication will advance our knowledge for after the conference with submissions possible from presenters as well as the Mastermind Collective. These articles will be advancing protocols, research, and ideas like never before. This publication will be a valued resource for years to come. The opportunity for protocols and knowledge to be added to the Knowlative site creates a collaborative platform to advance skills easily and globally. Have you checked out the platform? Delegates will have a key to the portal to explore all that Knowlative offers and to add to the knowledge. A subscription to Knowlative will keep you supporting the cause and engaging you every step of the way in your professional development.

The sense of community is very important to us with all the online training that happened over the last two years. We have designed this summit to make the most of gatherings to make new friends, to have a chance to exchange healing sessions online, to explore poster boards of the latest science, and a Show and Shine for our Mastermind Presenters to share their tools, programs etc.

What are the kinds of BioEnergetic Tools that will be shared?
Specific to our profession are some key features that distinguish us from other wellness approaches. With over 50 years of using this formula, we have had miraculous changes balancing the wellness triangle (body, mind, and spirit) in people’s lives.
1. Manual Biofeedback (Also referred to with many names, including the tools named Muscle Response Testing, Muscle Monitoring, Muscle Testing). This is the ability to personalize protocols and sessions for the specific needs of the person, rather than a “one tool fits all approach.” It includes monitoring a specific muscle to gain information about the related system within the body and where an energy block or flow requires assistance. Using an indicator muscle to identify energy reducing, energy stabilizing, or energy enhancing support for the body and systems. Assessing the biofield by monitoring the sensations in the hands when moving them through the biofield. It also develops awareness and the use of the senses for facilitators, clients, and students for engaging in wellness actions throughout the day.

2. Goal Setting/Intention Our classes, sessions, meetings, programs, business plans all begin with a goal or intention and a balance of energy towards its success using specific tools to bring balance and flow to the body and biofield. Goal Statements, Mind Maps, Intention Setting and Imagery are some of the ways that we will engage in identifying a desired outcome. Used daily, we have a unique way to live attentively, mindfully and in flow.

3. Action for Energy Flow No matter what tool, protocol, or movement we make, we have the ability to bring flow to the body and biofield, and to engage the Innate Healing Potential in all of us. Each discipline will have different protocols that they will use, they are often very simple and create instantaneous shifts.

4. Community Our ability to connect with others, engage compassion in action (not just empathize or sympathize with others), and to activate the innate healing potential in others and ourselves provides us with a powerful bond and an easy way to “Shift into Wellness.” Our community at CanBeWell provides a space for like-minded people to gather for conversations specific to the disciplines, tools and protocols that are a part of BioEnergetic Wellness. As well, our advocacy work provides us with outreach to other organizations, as well as global connections. Throughout the year we can gather through community chats, monthly newsletters, webinars, classes, and more. Our community at Knowlative creates an international hub for gathering science, research, protocols, papers, ideas and like-minded individuals together for access around the globe. There is a synergy in our communities!

Our themes of presentations expand these 4 key features in a way that will have you thinking differently about the gifts in your wellness toolbox and where you can advance your skills and interests moving forward.
